Welcome to Midland School of Childcare

Midland School of Child Care is a Private Centre of Further Education. It was established in August 1995 in Mullingar to fulfil a growing need for Child Care and related courses in the Midlands offering Quality accreditation. M.S.C.C. was the first to offer such courses in the Midlands. MSCC have been an approved NCFE Training and assessment Centre for the past twelve years and have previously been an International Work Shop / Examinations Centre for Montessori St Nicholas of London. MSCC are also registered with FETAC for the past two years offering programmes leading to FETAC awards.

Part-time Courses
All courses are currently run on a Part-time basis to facilitate those wishing to work and learn at the same time. Courses are either one night per week or two Saturdays per Month.

Career Options
Many Graduates have established their own Child Care Facilities, Montessori Schools, gained employment in the Child Care sector and taken up positions as Special Needs Assistants at Pre-school, Primary, Second and Third Level Schools/Colleges, while some have gone on to further study.
